Our Palo Santo sticks come harvested straight from Ecuador. They are sustainably and ethically sourced from trees that have naturally died. During this decomposition process, the tree is compressed, secreting its oil and acquiring its medicinal and aromatic properties. The trees remain uncollected for three to four years and then harvested to create these beautiful little pieces of magic.
Palo Santo has been used for many years by Shamans in Latin America to bring good energy and for spiritual healing. Palo Santo translates to "holy wood" in English.
Uses: Palo Santo has antimicrobial properties and can be calming to the nervous system, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. It can also be used for simple aromatic purposes because it smells delicious! And lastly, it can be used to keep away mosquitos and other pesky bugs.
Note: No two sticks are the same. Since this is an organic product, each stick has varying amounts of resin, leaving the strength per stick differing and uncontrollable.
